Copa Newton

Copa Newton is a football trophy contested between Argentina and Uruguay. It has been contested 27 times between 1906 and 1976.

History

Copa Newton was first contested in 1906, one year after Copa Lipton was first played. It was played on a regular basis until 1930 and then sporadically until 1976 when it was last played.
